About Our Coastal Cities:

The California Central Coast has become the premier location for those who desire the freedom and fun of the "beach life" ... as well as the comfort and tranquility of the "country life."

Located in the southern portion of beautiful San Luis Obispo County, the 5-cities area offers a taste of the good life ... whatever your interests may be.

Whether you seek soft sandy beaches, quaint coastal shops, inviting lush vineyards, or the freedom of the great outdoors, the Central Coast Life awaits you.

Pismo Beach - Visitors of Pismo Beach enjoy a myriad of activities including; walking through the Monarch Butterfly Grove, playing tennis, golfing, bicycling, horseback riding, scuba diving, bowling, hiking, miles of beautiful and clean beaches, exploring tide pools, coves, and caves. Pismo Beach is a recreation and tourism-oriented town with over 30 restaurants and more than 50 hotels, motels, inns and RV parks. Enjoy the 1200 foot Pismo Pier for sightseeing, walking, fishing and seeing the great sunset.

Grover Beach - Activities such as dune hiking, fishing, clamming, golfing, horseback riding, wine tasting and off-road vehicle riding are just some of the activities offered in and around Grover Beach.

Arroyo Grande - Tourism and agriculture spur the local economy and provide the stage for yearly festivals and celebrations, each one showcasing local products, local pastimes, and local businesses. The annual Strawberry Festival features this most famous crop. The Harvest Festival reminds residents of Arroyo Grande's agricultural heritage; a summer car show boasts a display of more than 300 custom and antique vehicles; and Christmas in the Village charms young and old. Fine homes, fine schools, fine antiques, fine wines, and fine people characterize the area. Civic pride creates a sense of community, and public and private partnerships show progress at a comfortable pace.

Oceano - Our 8 miles of towering sand dunes are often used in movie and television shows. They are ideal for horseback riding, picnics, hiking, guided nature walks and camping. For the adventurous, 4-wheel ATV riding on the dunes is a thrill not to be missed. The Oceano Airport is a great recreation destination with more fun things to do than you could ever hope to accomplish in a single visit. It's one of the few airports in California with camping right on the field. Oceano is within walking distance of the beach, four restaurants, and parks.

Avila Beach - Perfectly hidden between Pismo Beach and Morro Bay, is the quaint seaside town of Avila Beach. Discover the joy of fishing, whether it be from the pier, while out on the sea ... or simply choose from the wonderful display of fresh fish for sale. Step back in time as you visit the small fishing harbor. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on a soft sandy beach. Lined with small restaurants and a few local businesses, Avila Beach is the "quiet" getaway to relax, explore, and enjoy yourself.

San Luis Obispo - In addition to enjoying the natural beauty of the San Luis Obispo County coastline, there are lots of things to see and do in San Luis Obispo - a delightfully downtown with great dining, shops and nightlife; arts center; Mission Plaza; historical walking tours; Children's Museum; world-class performing arts center; and wine country tours. There are special events almost every weekend. The Central Coast of California is the start of the Big Sur coastline of California, and home of one of California most popular attractions, Hearst Castle.

Nipomo - Nestled in the foothills with a variety of scenic views this quaint community boasts acres of avocado and lemon orchards, sand dunes bordering the ocean, stately rows of eucalyptus trees providing windbreaks and fuel for fireplaces and rolling hills of beautiful California Oaks. Nipomo provides the basic necessities; professional and retail services, medical centers, grocery stores, restaurants, a public library, county park, senior center, lodging, and a community recreational center. This wonderful community is known for its open space and small-town lifestyle. Many homes offer an acre or more ... plenty of space to begin a garden, plant an orchard of fruit trees, or to fulfill the dream of owning a mini-ranch.
